Frying Pan on Denman

I was walking by when a picture of their temders caught my eye. I got the 4 piece medium hot chicken tenders. I love spice, but I was fighting for my life for over 10 minutes. Once I was able to tolerate the spiciness, the tenders were AMAZEBALLS! The waffle fries are a cute touch to the presentation. I’d definitely come back again.

Honey garlic chicken and waffles was absolutely delicious! Just the right amount of spicy and sweet heat. The yam fries were super crispy as well which is a rare find. Staff were extremely welcoming. This is my new favorite chicken spot!

Great spot on Denman Street right by English Bay! The place has lots of seating and a cool, slightly Pulp Fiction-style vibe. I arrived during happy hour and ordered the chicken burger with fries (as you can see in the picture). The staff were super friendly, and the food was delicious—greasy in the best way. We ended up taking our food to-go and enjoyed it right by the beach. Eating a juicy burger in front of the ocean made for a great experience. Highly recommend if you’re in the area!

4.5 Consistently great from the food truck only days, to Gastown location, to now this location--Frying Pan remains as my favourite fried chicken sandwich place in Vancouver. Honey garlic is my go-to. It being a made with a whole chicken breast makes it easy to justify the splurge. Yam fries are nice and crisp though I'd ask for less salt.

I wish I took a picture but I have been a huge fan of Frying Pan since they had their first location in Gastown! My #1 place to buy a fried chicken burger, even beats out Downlow Chicken Shack because that Korean spice is just so unique! I tried their loaded fries yesterday and those are a must try now!

Visited today for late lunch. I had the best chicken sandwich I have had recently (based on my personal experience). The chicken inside the sandwich was juicy, crunch and well seasoned. The sauce and the slaw worked really well together. We ordered the OG hot chicken, hot and sweet honey garlic, and kids tenders. I personally liked the honey garlic sandwich more but the OG was also really tasty. Waffles fries were great too with a good portion size. Their house mayo was also delicious. Most of all, the lady who received our order was so kind, attentive and friendly. The service was beyond 10/10. She even came to check how our food was and also to kindly interact with our son. Such a sweet gesture. The only criticism I have was that it was a bit cold in the restaurant. Got a tall can of beer with the chicken sammy, and this meal was so satisfying. Definitely going on my favourite restaurant list.

My friend and I got the Hot Crunch at happy hour and it was Delicious! The lady taking our order was so helpful and patient. I messed up and ordered medium spice for both of us which packed a bit of a punch but my friend definitely couldn’t handle it. But the guy behind the counter graciously gave her a little cup of ice cream to dull the heat. 10/10 would come here again.

On vacation, staying at a nearby hotel. This place is so good I ended up going two days on the run. First day I got the OG Hot Chicken Sandwich, second day the Dirty Chicken Fries (pictured). Both incredibly delicious and the staff are SO friendly and nice. I wish this place was my local!
